It used to be one of the best places in Bangladesh for software engineers. It still is, but all the good things are gradually fading away.
Pros:
- One of the best working environment and engineering culture in Bangladesh, if not the best.
- The flexibility, work life balance, and other benefits are awesome.
- You can work from anywhere, as long as your manager approves.
- The engineers here are really talented and amazing people. You get the chance to learn a lot from them.
- There are a lot of initiatives that help engineers to learn and improve their skills. They often organize knowledge transfer sessions, tech talks, hack days and other initiatives to keep engineers interested.
- Everyone here is very supportive. A great place for everyone, from freshers to senior engineers.
- The food is good, and there are bottomless snacks for you if your mouth feels lonely.
Cons:
- Many good benefits are being reduced day by day in the name of cost cutting and budget management.
- Used to have unlimited PTOs earlier, which was a great thing. But now there's limited number of PTOs.
- The office space is small compared to the number of employees. Normally it's fine because many employees work from home most of the days. But on occasions when more people visit the office, some people can't find a place to sit.
